It's About Making The Customer The Center Of Attention

I think Spike Jones (@spikejones) said it best on Twitter when he wrote “The problem with fishbowls is that you end up swimming around in your own crap.” I’ve never really liked fish either, so I get exactly what Spike is getting at here. I have always been much more of a dog person.

Spike is SVP over at Fleishmen Hillard (Austin, TX) and he dropped by for another round of Get Real With Spike this week, our 5th installment. We always love Spike’s fresh takes on the industry. He keeps us from spending all our time in the social media bubble.

In this episode, Spike challenges marketers to forget about Likes and to move past the “look at me” publishing mentality social media is growing in to.
