Facebook is still testing a new Timeline design, reports ABC. The Timeline of personal profiles that is, not pages, at least as far as we know yet.
We saw a very similar new profile Timeline preview back in October, as reported by InsideFacebook.com.
“This is a new design Facebook is testing with a small percentage of people to make navigating timeline even easier,” a Facebook spokesperson told ABC News.
The changes on the new Timeline include:
- Text tab links, removed thumbnail images
- Subscribers now referred to as “followers”
- Exact subscriber number now listed, no more rounding
- New single column layout for all Timeline content, no more bouncing back left and right
There is a small amount of content in a smaller right column now, like friends’ photos, but the right column ends quickly in this new design.
